Working closely with the clinical team we developed the brief, concept layout and content in order to tender the project as an off-site Modular building. HMY then acted as client Architect Representative reviewing the developing designs by MTX and Day Architects to achieve sign-off and then monitoring the construction and handover. The result is a 21st century facility doubling the capacity and designed to manage patients existing and future pandemics.

Dr Mark Snazelle, the Trust’s lead doctor for Critical Care says: “This new unit will be a welcome boost for our team and ensure that we have the best possible environment to care for our most critically ill patients.”
