8 of the HMY team trained up for the London to Brighton bike ride this year, which took place on Sunday 10th September.

Unfortunately one team member was unable to ride due to injury, but thanks to Jan, Dan, Viktor, Walter, Matt, Bryn and James, we managed to raise 150% of our fundraising target, reaching over £2,200 for Crash.

A few words from our chosen charity which will explain why we have supported their cause for the past 20 years: ‘CRASH has been the UK construction industry’s social impact partner for almost 25 years. We unite the power of the industry to do good by channelling their professional expertise, construction products and fundraising to build places that care for the sick, vulnerable and homeless in the communities we work and live. Our work demonstrates how the construction industry and the charitable sector can build more caring societies.’

A huge thank you to all our generous sponsors, many of whom were personal contacts, but special thanks go to Coleman & James, W W Martin, Passivhaus Client Extraordinaire, RAP Interiors, The Jenner Group and the guys at Folkestone & Hythe for getting us to 150% of our target fundraising.

Here are a few images of the day.
